If you are looking for an emergency exit from Ukraine, Poland will open EIGHT safety points on the border with Ukraine (you will get warm food, medical help and from there you will be guided to safety) in two of our voivodeships: lubelskie and podkarpackie. It is confirmed by the Polish Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Paweł Szefernaker.

my name is yeliza, i’m ukrainian, living in kyiv. funny story but currently we have a 150k+ army of russians all over the ukrainian borders, as well as an ongoing shelling from uncontrolled territories that has been averaging more than 1000 strikes daily. more fun facts - we are currently in a state of emergency, and it’s of high probability that russians will start a major invasion pretty damn soon. kyiv will be one of the first to be hit :)

I mentioned previously that my dog Pluto was sick. He saw his regular vet on November 5 because there was blood in his urine, and at that time a urinalysis showed a UTI and he received antibiotics for that. Over the next week, his condition deteriorated to the point that he was very weak and not eating and losing a lot of blood. He saw his regular vet again, who recommended I euthanize him, but I couldn’t do that without getting a second opinion. I took him to the emergency vet today (November 11) and after examining him and doing blood work, it appears he was poisoned. The vet said several other dogs have been brought in over the last week or so with the same symptoms, so it appears someone is purposely poisoning dogs in town. He’s lost a lot of blood and needs transfusions, IV medication, and to be hospitalized for 2-3 days. The vet initially gave me an estimate of $3.3k to $4.2k, an amount I simply do not have. They can’t offer payment plans and I don’t qualify to finance it. She gave me a revised estimate to treat and hospitalize him for a day, and that will be between $2.2k to $2.6k, part of which I’ve already left as a down payment. My only other option was to euthanize him today, but I had to give my best friend a fighting chance. I need another $1k to pay for treating him today, and another $2-3k to give him his best shot at recovery. I know it’s a lot to ask, but any help would be incredibly appreciated. If you don’t mind me putting my two cents:
I feel like Jojo Siwa’s style is reminiscent of the colorful teen girl fashion of the late 2000s and early 10s. Back then it was considered fashionable to use lots of colors, accessories, etc. Take a look at Jojo Siwa:
Very colorful, generous with sparkles and accessories. It’s meant to be fun!
If you were a kid in 2007-2012 you saw something similar in the clothing the teens in your sitcoms wore, although not as exaggerated. The fashion in Shake It Up(which came out in 2010) is a really good example of this:

The point is, Jojo’s aesthetic is similar to being a young pre teen girl walking into Limited Too for the first time.
And the reason cishet men hate it is because they don’t find it attractive. That’s why she’s often made fun of and used as a joke so much. Because that style doesn’t cater to the male gaze. It’s not for them, so it must be bad.

Okay but you realize that the person who said "American Kawaii" has it exactly right, yea? That kawaii in Japan was created for girls to embrace cutesy juvenile things that refuted the beauty standards (created by men) that expected them to look mature and marriageable as soon as possible. It was over-the-top BECAUSE men hated it! Because the girls in the subculture specifically wanted to keep them away as long as they could and enjoy their childhood without being seen as Somebody's Future Wife™.
